Stansted Airport has big plans for 2025. After celebrating its busiest year ever and opening a very bougie new passenger lounge, Stansted it about to get going on a mega £1bn expansion. And now, the airport has announced that it’ll be launching dozens of new flights. So if you’re in need of some travel inspo, look no further.

A year after it returned to the airport, British Airways is introducing a new route from Stansted to Bergerac in France. There’s a new service to Rotterdam beginning in April with new airline Transavia and a new route to Kayseri in Turkey in July with Turkish carrier SunExpress.

Jet2 is debuting flights from Stansted to Pula in Croatia and Bergen, Norway in May. Ryanair will be resuming its flights to Lübeck, Germany in the summer and introducing a new service to Clermont-Ferrand in France, taking off in March and another to Münster in Germany from April.

Simon Gorrighan, Stansted’s aviation director, said: ‘We’re really excited about these new routes – they’re all about giving our passengers even more choice for their travels. Whether it’s unwinding in the vineyards of Bergerac, soaking up the buzz of Rotterdam’s cultural scene, or exploring the stunning landscapes of Cappadocia, there’s truly something for everyone.

‘London Stansted serves more European destinations than any other UK airport, and these new services will further strengthen our route network, which now covers almost 200 destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.’
