London has a pop-up ramen bar! Yoisha! (That’s ‘hooray’ in Japanese.)

‘Isle of Dogs’ is Wes Anderson’s new movie: an animated film about a boy searching for his missing pup in a dystopian future Japan. This ramen bar is part of a two-week pop-up exhibition featuring the sets and stop-motion puppets used in the film.

We’ve been hounding (sorry) people for more noodle info, but all we can find out is that the ramen bowls will come in chicken and vegetable flavours, Akira Shimizu (head chef of the four-star Engawa in Soho) will be cooking ’em, and the exhibition is free, but the ramen is not.

Find art and ramen at The Store X, 180 The Strand, WC2R 1EA. The exhibition runs from Friday March 23 until April 5. ‘Isle of Dogs’ is released on Friday March 30.

In the mood for some noodle-in-broth? Here’s our pick of London’s best ramen
