Padel. It’s the latest sports craze – a cross between tennis and squash that’s categorised by the satisfying thwack sound the ball makes when you hit it. It’s beloved by David Beckham, Stormzy and Andy Murray.
In fact, Brits are now so mad for the fast-paced ball sport that it’s the fastest growing sport in the country (and considered to be in in the world, too). The number of British padel courts has risen by 1,200 percent since 2019, growing from 40 to more than 500.
If you’re a padel head, we have some good news. The kind people at DOSE have created a map of all the padel courts in London, including their prices.
In total, the capital has 46 padel courts. The most are concentrated in south west London, specifically Wandsworth, where there are five courts.
London’s cheapest padel court is Playtime Padel Clubs in Kingston, where it will set you back £20 an hour. In central London the price is double, with courts in Regent’s Park and Hyde Park charging £40 per hour. But London’s most spenny facility is in Totteridge – The Padel Hub North London charges £80 per hour during peak times. Those better be some very nice courts.

‘The explosive growth of padel in London has been incredible to witness, but accessibility remains a challenge,’ said Saul Westbrook, Digital Strategy Director at DOSE . ‘Our map empowers players by giving them transparent access to pricing and locations, making it easier to find a court that fits their budget.’
