Taking the idea of sliding into the new decade quite literally, a new coffee shop pop-up has appeared in Selfridges, and it’s got a giant, twisty yellow chute to hurtle down!
In situ until February 9 at The Corner Shop on the store’s ground floor, New Ground will serve all your favourite caffeine fixes, with the option to add a shot of CBD oil for some additional retail zen. But, despite its playground aesthetic, the pop-up isn’t just about playful high-jinks.
Helping ex-offenders from the Thames Valley area by offering job opportunities and specialising in ethically traded coffee and recyclable cups, New Ground is also a pitstop with a purpose, and one designed to kick off the 2020s in the right spirit.
So slide on in: supporting Londoners who really need it has never been so fun.
