We’ve watched the restoration of #temperatehouse @kewgardens for the last 5 years so couldn’t wait to go visit yesterday and it was well worth the wait!. . The main problem I think with Instagram’s algorithm is it stops people from posting things they wouldn’t usually post because they’re scared it’s gonna just bomb. I’m totally the same, I hold back so many photos because I know they won’t be liked as much so Instagram will just hide the photo from everyone. So here is to this photo remaining in the underworld of Instagram, I hope those ho see it enjoy it 🌞 . Yet Instagram claims the algorithm was brought in to make people more creative, I think it’s done the opposite to me. But anyway, here are some cute lil kids dressed up as Victorians yesterday at Little Venice. . Little Venice is a neighbourhood in London centred on an area of decorative houseboats and a partly tree-lined, three-way junction of canals. Many of its buildings are Regency white painted stucco terraced town houses and taller blocks (mansions) in the same style. The junction, a small fraction larger than usual along the canals, is that of the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal and the Regent's Canal, and is also known as Browning's Pool or Little Venice Lagoon. To the south is the largely commercial Paddington Basin and Hyde Park. . It’s a long weekend for us in the U.K. so we also have a chill day tomorrow, it’s going to be 27 degrees too! BBQ tomorrow and then packing for Canada 🇨🇦
