In 1968, after a brief burst of fame, folk-pop singer Bunyan left London in a horse-drawn wagon and moved to the Outer Hebrides. She retired from music altogether three years later, becoming one of folk music's lost cult figures – until her bewitching songs began to enjoy a well-deserved revival in the early noughties. Since then she's been back on the touring circuit, as spellbinding as ever and with new material recorded with disciples such as Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart and Max Richter. Bunyan plays two rare London dates here in a tiny, beautiful church: don't miss this chance to hear her warm, fragile, iconic voice in such an intimate setting.
