Total Immersion: Percussion

Something different for the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s Total Immersion this time –an instrument rather than a composer. With events throughout the day, highlights include a 2pm concert of percussion works by Reich, Kagel and Lachenmann; plus a 7.30pm performance of Wolfgang Rihm’s ‘Tutuguri’ for large orchestra, ten percussionists, taped chorus and speaker.
