The Elysian Singers directed by Sam Laughton, with organist Mark Brafield and saxophonist Kenji Fenton. The concert is a tribute to WH Auden and is dedicated to musical settings of his work, including the world premiere of a new commission 'Timepieces' by Ian Stephens. The other works are Britten's 'Hymn to St Cecilia'; Walton's 'The Twelve'; Rudolf Escher's Two Poems; James Lavino's 'On This Island'; Hans Vogt's 'Song of an Old Soldier'; and Antonin Tucapsky's 'Lauds'.
