Tim Whitehead's Colour Beginnings/Kenny Wheeler + Personal Standards Quartet

Melodic improvisational saxophonist takes inspiration from the paintings of JMW Turner – where he improvised music in front of the original artworks, then turned them into written scores – plays his spellbinding pieces with help from still brilliant octogenarian trumpeter Wheeler.
