A rare and very welcome solo showing from the Sonic Youth mainman, playing ahead of his set at the Jeff Mangum-curated ATP Iin Minehead. Recent album 'Demolished Thoughts' effortlessly scotched all those cloth-eared accusations that he's a one-trick, skronk-rock pony. Both artful and emotional, it's a beautifully nuanced record boasting more gentle introspection than trademark guitar wrangling. ATP faves TF support.
