Founded by Suzi Digby (Lady Eatwell) OBE in 1993, music education charity The Voices Foundation's chief aim is to help transform the lives of primary age children through singing. Central to this goal is its year-long, in-school programme, which trains non-specialist teachers to teach music with the same skill and confidence they have in other subjects. Teachers Stephen Scott and Nicola Scade from Cathedral School in Southwark, which has followed the programme since 2009, lead sessions with two different age groups to demonstrate the charity's methodology and structured progression of learning.
