There's a lot of French electro around these days, but '80s obsessive Kavinsky is definitely a cut above most. His penchat for nostalgic, 8-bit-tinged productions has seen him through seven years of singles and EPs (including the massive 'Nightcall' track – produced by one half of Daft Punk – used in crime thriller 'Drive'), but now he's finally released his debut full-length album, 'Outrun'. To celebrate, he's playing a ruddy great warehouse in London in what's sure to be a blinder of a show. There'll be special guests, dirty electro hooks galore, a heaving, hip crowd and probably some Frnch disco-house gems dropped in the set as well. A very tasty ticket indeed.
