The Monstrous Child

This new commission by the Royal Opera House is a work for young people inspired by Norse mythology. Francesca Simon, the author behind the bestselling 'Horrid Henry' series, has penned the story of Loki's teenage daughter, who's half girl, half corpse. She's collaborated with young British composer Gavin Higgins on 'The Monstrous Child', in an imaginative new opera that's brought to life using puppetry and spectacle.
