The Frolick

Seventeenth-centuryentertainmentfrom prize-winning Baroque band The Frolick – Emma Curtis (contralto), Catherine Martin and Jim O'Toole, violins, Andrew Maginley, lute and baroque guitar, and cellist Natasha Kraemer – provide a rare opportunity to hear exquisite formal music from the court of Charles I, plus irreverent broadside ballads popular in Charles II's reign, including songs made famous by Nell Gwyn, former resident of Lauderdale House.
