Revived for a sixth outing after several fallow years, east London’s festival of maximum leftfield fun and musical nonconformity pitches up with a new island site in the Lee Valley, surrounded by historic mills. The line-up is a generation-spanning selection of indie heroes, from Gang Of Four and The Jesus & Mary Chain through The Cribs and Carl Barât, right down to relative newcomers like Toy, Bo Ningen and The Wytches. Anyone who digs heavy rock fuzz and post-industrial landscapes should get this in their diary, pronto.
