BBC Singers and The Continuum Ensemble under Philip Headlam pay tribute to Germany’s lost generation of Jewish composers who enjoyed fame in the heady 1920s before being forced into exile by the Nazis. Featuring talks about and music by Ernst Krenek, Stefan Wople, Ernst Toch and Kurt Weill (whose ‘Berliner Requiem’ on Sunday afternoon is the festival highlight).
