Time Out says

Up close and atmospheric, the violinist Peter Sheppard Skærved brings his successful Soundbox concept of music, writing and discussion from the Royal Academy of Music to Wilton's for the first time. Part of his series of salons in evocative, unconstructed spaces, the evening is an opportunity to enjoy classical music in a different way. He chats with guest composer Jeremy Thurlow about Jelly d'Arányi, the great-niece of violiinst Joseph Joachim, who inspired Bartók, Ravel and Vaughan Williams to write great works for his instrument. She and her sister, Adila, were enthusiastic spiritualists, inspiring a new work from Thurlow. This evening has a unique connection to d'Arányi as it features the Stradivari owned by her great uncle, Joachim, who gave his London debut under Mendelssohn in 1844. Music by Bartok, Egon Wellesz, Joseph Joachim, and Jeremy Thurlow
