Simple Minds

Jim Kerr and co return to play bombastic, thunderous, synth-heavy classics like '(Don't You) Forget About Me' and 'Alive and Kicking'. The highlight, though, is always be their gleaming, sophisticated early material, which brilliantly trod the line between post-punk and synth-pop, and which the band have been 'Celebrate'-ing (to quote the title of their new best-of) much more in recent years.
