Salonen/Lang Lang Series

The first of three concerts in which the Philharmonia Orchestra under Esa-Pekka Salonen collaborates with Chinese superstar pianist Lang Lang. They begin with an all-Grieg programme, opening with the dramatic Piano Concerto and concluding with the complete incidental music for ‘Peer Gynt’, accompanied by actors directed by Peer Perez Øian (who appears in conversation at 6pm).
