Ryoichi Kurokawa

Berlin-based, Japanese visual/sound artist Kurokawa debuts his 'Syn_' show at the BFI's Sonic Cinema Series. The performance consists of two screens that loom behind Kurokawa – flashing digital shapes that the sound influence, as well as photographs of animals, insects and people – as he conjures explosions of distortion, squeaks and dubstep beats.
