Nicholas Dodd conducts the RPO with grand diva the divine Ms Bassey, fine 70's-styled retro-soul chanteuse Rumer and more in this tribute to the master of the cinematic score, who died in January aged 77. Featuring his most well-known compositions (for 'Midnight Cowboy', 'Goldfinger' et al), in a programme put together by his widow Laurie and David Arnold. Also including tributes from Sirs George Martin and Michael Caine, among others. Profits go to the newly established John Barry Scholarship for film composition at the Royal College of Music.
