Rosenblatt Recitals: Bryan Hymel

The American dramatic tenor Bryan Hymel is a rare talent. He possesses an instrument both powerful and lyrical, and is armed with a massive vocal range that can take him into the stratosphere. In this recital, accompanied by pianist Julius Drake, he shows his sensitive side in Vaughan Williams’s ‘Four Hymns’, Wagner’s ‘Wesendonck Lieder’, plus arias and duets from operas by Gounod, Mascagni, Berlioz and Bizet.
