Risen Festival

The under-representation of women and minorities on the average festival line-up has come up time and time again in recent years. This one-day dance music festival launched in 2022 to do something about it, and returns for its sophomore year in April. Curated by co-founders Alice Franklin and Kitty Bartlett, its line-up features over 80 artists representing the 'divine feminine, including the likes of Emerald, Heléna Star, Jaye Ward, Michelle Manetti and RAW SILK, performing across seven dynamic warehouse spaces around Hackney Wick including Colour Factory, The Yard and Crate Brewery.
