He loves his concepts, does our Richie Hawtin. From the frankly ridiculous 'Cube' (just don't ask) to interviewing Skrillex, the minimal techno futurist (and outstanding producer, lest we forget) is clearly an ideas man. But kudos to him for trying to progress techno shows, even if it does take the form of this kinda ambiguous idea. After reading a lot about it, we're still not 100% on what ENTER. actually is, but it's safe to assume that it'll be a show of grandiose proportions, and you simply can't knock Hawtin's techno track record – because it's outstanding. His support ain't too shabby, either: Maya Jane Coles, Magda, Heidi and MINUS (Hawtin's label) signee Matador. It'll be a night of premium techno and house, that's for sure, but let's just hope he doesn't decide to interview Skrillex onstage, in a cube. Or a bath – that can only lead to trouble.
