Ransom Paycheque + Sons of Kemet

Newly formed skronk jazz prog unit comprised of guitarist Stefano Kalonaris, drummer Francesco Pastacaldi and supercharged Led Bib bassist Liran Donin (with added laptop trickery from Tom Mudd). This trio cooks up some belligerently funky grooves with snarling improv on top. Rising star saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings leads the double drumming wallop of SoK with both Tom Skinner and Seb Rochford kicking out the beats with tuba dude Oren Marshall administering the low end rumbles.
