Extraordinary circular-breathing US free improv trumpeter Evans' extended and innovative technique – much like UK sax man Evan Parker – has helped expand the creative boundaries of his instrument. Known for his work with his cheerily titled quartet, Mostly Other People Do The Killing, he's also worked with scary improv guitarist Fred Frith and Yeah, Yeah Yeahs drummer Brian Chase.
