Peer Gynt

The Arcola's known for its international outlook, but it's always welcome when they host a transfer from mainland Europe. This Autumn, they're hosting a German-language production of Ibsen's classic fairytale 'Peer Gynt', produced by Theater an der Ruhr. This bold new version is cut down to 90 minutes, and performed by two actors - the theatre's artistic director Roberto Ciulli, and his longtime collaborator Maria Neumann - in a haunting exploration of dreams and deception.
