Paradise Lost

Formed in Halifax but much bigger in Europe than their homeland, these scary-looking dudes make angsty metal that has flirted with goth rock, death and doom stylings and even industrial music. Their songs are just as intense and portentous as the epic poem after which the band is named (but much shorter).
