From the ashes of hugely popular African electro night Secousse comes this brand new exploration of everything kwaito, kuduro, UK funky, reggaeton, funana, Shangaan electro, soca, dancehall, Pretoria house, moombahton, tecno brega and beyond – anything as long as it's tropical, frenetic and makes you want to shake your booty. The launch tonight, at underrated venue Bedroom Bar, features the Palm City Social tag team, AJ Holmes, Moroka, Vamanos and MC Kastro, joined by guest DJs from Boglewaltz ('tropically-brassy funk, reggae-kissed bass, ice cream-covered soul') and Okzharp (aka Grev from LV) and a live set from psychedelic folk-pop outfit Vadoinmessico.
