On Screen: Mark-Anthony Turnage's 'Beyond This'

A 12-minute film showing Mark-Anthony Turnage and some more recent composers – a group of adult male prisoners. Together, they have written, orchestrated and recorded an exciting piece of music in celebration of Britain and its culture, employing the individual musical and cultural influences of all participants. (Commissioned by The Irene Taylor Trust 'Music in Prisons', an established charity which believes in music as a powerful vehicle for change.)
