Of Montreal

Part of the celebrated Elephant 6 collective, Of Montreal are fronted by Kevin Barnes and are in fact from Athens, Georgia. They've spent almost two decades crafting neo-psych indie pop with notes of funk, electronica, Afrobeat, glam, nu-prog, ersatz country, krautrock… essentially anything that'll stick, leading to a wildly diverse back catalogue united only by Barnes's introspective, melancholic lyrics. This evening's show is in support of the group's latest album 'Aureate Gloom' – their twelfth overall and their fourth in the last five years.
