Not so Silent Movies...

In a brand new series devised by cellist/composer Philip Sheppard, on the first Sunday each month this autumn, top musicians perform spontaneous soundtracks to the world's greatest silent film comedies without watching the films or rehearsing in advance. Guests include performers from the London Sinfonietta, the Royal Academy of Music, as well as Guy Pratt from Pink Floyd, drummer Geoff Dugmore and violinist and violist Elspeth Hanson.
