Eric Clapton (Jun 9), Patti Smith (Jun 10), Ringo Starr, Rumer, Eels (Jun 11), Mastodon (Jun 12), Eagles (Jun 13) Some music giants top the bill at Norwegian Wood this year, and they'd have to be to get you to fork out such a sum for the lot, but we can't fault the prolific 64-year-old blues rock veteran Clapton or strikingly talented impossibly influential and iconoclastic musician, author and artist Smith or Atlanta's metalcore quartet Mastodon – named 'Best Band On The Planet' by Kerrang! – grinding out impressively convoluted, amped-up prog/metal noise.
