Time Out says

Hot on the heels of the ENO's storming 'Norma', the ROH are getting in on the act with their own take on the Bellini classic. Antonio Pappano conducts a cast that's headed by Anna Netrebko and Joseph Calleja, and directed by Àlex Ollé. He'll give 'Norma' a contemporary setting, against the backdrop of a brutal civil war. She's a priestess who falls in love with the leader of the occupying forces, but as his love cools her people urge her to lead a rebellion.
