Nick Mulvey

A founding member of Mercury-nominated jazz fusion act Portico Quartet, Mulvey has successfully reinvented himself as a singer-songwriter performing mellow, jazzy, offbeat folk-pop, with a world music slant informed by an ethnomusicology degree from SOAS. His gently affecting sound has hit the charts and seen him playing ever bigger venues, and , his debut album ‘First Mind’ won him his second Mercury nomination – this time as a solo act.
