Scooters, suits and haircuts at the ready: the Mods are coming to London for four days of sharp, ’60s-inspired action to celebrate 50 years of this resilient subculture. The assorted Moddery on offer includes live soul, jazz and classic R&B acts including Motown veterans The Velvelettes and mod revivalists Secret Affair and Stone Foundation. Every gig is open until late, with DJs spinning Mod tunes in three rooms after the live acts. Aside from the music there'll also be a record fair, a scooter run and a daytime boat party.
