Manu Delago's Living Room in London

Emerging in the wake of Hang-toting Portico Quartet (who've now gone all electronica-ish) comes this Austrian percussion virtuoso who draws extraordinary, melodic/percussive textures from the UFO-shaped, Swiss-made instrument. Classically trained Delago plays two seperate hangs with his hands to create rippling polyrhythms and shimmering melodies. He's joined by a shimmering string-trio and stunning clarinetist Christoph Pepe Auer, all creating unclassifiable spine-tingling acoustic music.
