Highly promising Huddersfield quartet headline with their youthful, spirited, richly atmospheric and intelligently off-centre alt.folk pop, which sees them variously utilising ukulele, cajon, trumpet, banjo and mandolin as well as guitar/bass/drums – plus a fine line in hushed falsetto – to thoroughly enthralling effect. Their lovely debut single, 'Living in the Alligator' (Vandal Records) is released on March 12. Former Portico Quartet man Mulvey provides excellent support.
