The pianist Louis Demetrius Alvanis gives a recital dedicated to the French composer Maurice Ravel in the 75th anniversary year of the composer's death. Music by one of Ravel's musical idols, Haydn, is featured alongside that of his contemporaries, Debussy and Scriabin. Haydn's Sonata in E flat, Hob XVI/52; Ravel's Minuet on the name of Haydn; 'Gaspard de la Nuit'; Scriabin's 'Vers la Flamme', Op 72; and Debussy's 'L'Isle Joyeuse'.
