The more seasoned members of London's rock ’n’ roll underground will descend on Great Portland Street tonight, for an evening of crusty old music for crusty old punks. The biggest bands signed are second-wave (let's not say second-rate) groups of the Oi! and street-punk variety, including the east end's very own Cockney Rejects, Bristolians Vice Squad, and Hertfordshire boys Chron Gen in one of their periodic reunions. Rounding out the line-up are the similarly shouty and beery 16 Guns, plus
more experimental synthpunk noises from Spizzenergi.
