LONDON JAZZ FESTIVAL: Wayne Shorter Quartet/BBC Concert Orchestra

Modern jazz giant Shorter plays a specially arranged repertoire of originals with pianist Danilo Perez, bassist John Patitucci and drummer Brian Blade to celebrate his 80th birthday. The second half of the evening sees the powerhouse quartet join forces with the striking, richly lyrical orchestral settings of the BBC Concert Orchestra.
