London Improvisers Orchestra

Born out of Butch Morris's 1997 CMN London Skyscraper tour, this sprawling collective meets on the first Sunday of every month. Composer and performers are selected anew each time and create and rehearse a new piece of music during the day, then perform it in the evening. Tonight's performance begins with a film on late great trumpeter Harry Beckett who was a regular with the LIO.
