Lisa Ekdahl

Sweden's Ekdahl purveys a brand of soft, classy Latin-jazz which has gone big across Scandinavia, racking up platinum record sales and won her no less than three Grammy Awards. Her pared down reading of Björk's 'Shhh It's Oh So Quiet' entered the Swedish charts at number one, while she's also sung material by her husband, New York composer Salvadore Poe, with nods towards Jobim and Gilberto's bossa nova.
