Two nights of especially 'spooky-jazz' from this superb Mercury-nominated quintet who continue to deliver a white-hot blast of pugnacious punk-funk cum free jazz with respectful nods to Ornette Coleman and John Zorn. With a twin horn attack, snarling Fender Rhodes and a rampant rhythm section they tear into tunes from their skronking, bass-heavy latest LP 'Bring Your Own', their most hook-laden album to date.
