Lambchop with Cortney Tidwell

A variation on Kort – ie Lambchop singer-songwriter and guitarist Kurt Wagner's collaboration with Nashville's ethereal songstress Tidwell – in that this time around, it's the entire band. Wagner is an engaging and highly likeable live performer, possessed of a sandpapery but warmly intimate voice and dry sense of humour, while Tidwell pitches up in roughly the same ballpark as Gillian Welch with her epic, crystalline Americana-folk.
