Time Out says

Opened in March 2020, this new, two-floored, 600-capacity music and nightlife venue in King’s Cross is run by Ben Lovett, who also owns London Bridge venue Omeara. The impressive main space has a tall stage for performances, but with lights down low it’s easy to imagine it running as a club – there’s a 4am licence on Friday and Saturday. On site you’ll also find a cocktail bar called Streetwater, which aims to become a global cocktail destination along the lines of NYC’s The Dead Rabbit, and The Courtyard, a street food space covered by a ceiling of falling greenery.

What’s on

Sabrage

Named after the practise of opening a champagne bottle with a saber, we’re honestly not 100 percent certain what Sabrage literally involves, although it would seem to be a cabaret show of sorts and it would be pretty cowardly if it didn’t involve any actual sabrage. We’re promised ‘acrobatic talent and finest cabaret from around the world are serving an intoxicating blend of vintage French glamour, high-end spectacle and titillating acts to infatuate, illuminate and inspire’. Which is nice. Nicer is the fact it’s produced by the Menier Chocolate Factory – who generally seem to know what they’re doing – in a production that will run at Kings Cross live music venue Lafayette London.
