Jupiter Bokondji is a Congolese musician who fuses European rock with traditional West African music, and Okwess International is his Congolese-French Afrobeat group, which has been playing in one form or another since 1990. Jupiter and his band release their debut album 'Hotel Univers' this year, and they're playing a gig in the former Olympic Park to celebrate. And theupshot of all this is that you can spend a summer night in London dancing under the stars to some intensely funky Congolese grooves. Not bad, eh?
