John Butcher/Steve Noble/Kaffe Matthews

Saxophonist Butcher wrestles with the limits of his saxophone — multiphonics, trilling warbles, tongue-stopped blips, squeaks and more — to produce a constantly evolving soundscape of dynamics and textures. These get extended further by the equally inventive drumming of Noble and laptop manipulations of Matthews.
