It will be incredibly tough to beat the first of XOYO's new Extended Play sessions here tonight: the first turntable wizard to get in the ring is LCD Soundsystem's main man and DFA Records head honcho James Murphy. And with The Rapture playing at XOYO just a few nights earlier, it's a right DFA-a-thon this week. Following the demise of Murphy's hugely popular band, Murphy looks forward to a new era as he celebrates a decade of his incredible NYC-based label instead. He'll be spinning a three-hour DJ set filled with cosmic, punk-funk, house, techno and disco (no doubt) gems with support from exciting new duo Jam Factory, comprised of ex-Disco Bloodbather Dan Beaumont and ex-Gucci Soundsystemer Ben Rymer. Strap in tight and prepare for the ride.
