Herbert

Matthew Herbert – maverick house and electronica producer, multi-instrumentalist and increasingly hyper-conceptual auteur – goes back to his mid-nineties Herbert alias to explore the roots of house music with a live set as part of Convergence (a series of events exploring the relationship between technology and music). Expect everything from raw, early Chicago cuts to deeper jams to rave-dipped bangers. There will be live vocalists, tracks from the producer's upcoming new album 'The Shakes', older Herbert material and a live show encompassing costumes and a set designed by an award-winning theatre director.
